Anyway, ( I need to find more sentence starters. ), I was at this function with some gossipy aunties and they were attempting to get me involved in their conversation. It started off very nicely with them insisting that I should become a 'daktar' because it is a 'respectable' profession. I was like, bro, how do you expect me to pursue something I have completely no interest in? 

And one of the gossipy aunties says something that just made my day.

'Why don't you do Medicine, THEN go pursue whatever you are interested in?'

I swear, that knocked me out, I was speechless and staring open mouthed at her for like 3 seconds. Oh boy, it takes a genius Indian to come up with something as brilliant as that. Noticing my bewildered expression, another gossipy auntie attempted to smooth out the tension in the air by 'attempting to joke' about my specs. She went '' Eh girl, you shouldn't be wearing your grandmother's glasses you know, The last time I saw you, you looked better."

Oh hell no. She didn't. 'Bitch, hold my bloody nasi lemak.'

And the only thing that was running through my mind that whole time was ' Lady, you should stay away from the mutton. The last time I saw you, you only had one stomach.'
