ICC BLOODY KLANG MAN!

Its been what 2 days since we got back from the District Interact Conference which was held in, wait for it, jeng....jeng...jeng. The mother of all badass resorts :

GIVE IT UP FOR NUR LAMAN BESTARI ECO RESORT IN ULU YAM!

Okay, back to business. Since ICC Klang was organizing it and yada yada we went there one day earlier and traveled about in dumpster trucks. Of course then we were given the 'opportunity' to check out ze rooms. 

"Located amidst the lush green surroundings of Hutan Lipur Sungai Tua, Nur Laman Bestari Eco Resort offers its patrons an opportunity to embrace nature at its best. With chalets, water villas and not to forget our much prided river cottages, life next to nature has never been and will never be any better. And my oh my, have we forgotten how this very resort instills moral values and the need to save water amongst the materialistic teenagers these days. With bone-shaking cold water that leaves you with a heart attack, no longer will you have the feeling to take a bath at any time of the day, thus saving water and the world."

Then you put the brochure down and three words for you HORROR HORROR HORROR.

Back to life, despite the not so comfortable location ( Who am I kidding? ), DIC on the whole was one kick ass of an event. I mean what did that famous fella say again? Its not where you are, its who you're with. From the first day right up to the third, all we could hear was moaning and groaning all over the place and now, on the 43rd District Interact Conference group on Facebook, everyone is busy reminiscing about their memories and moments. Then, theres this guy.

Yeah, he's da bomb.

Well, the first day of conference was pretty pathetic, you could say. We struggled our asses of to get the registration done. Then we realize that none of the bloody rooms are vacant. We have people from all over coming and asking us 'Oh hey, where's Dewan 2' or 'Omg, its so like warm here, where the hell is like omg Dorm 1?' 

And all we can do is shrug our shoulders and say entah.

Then we are faced with the bitchiest of all bitchified faces. And I'm like 'Damn sizta do you think I bloody built this place and purposely hid all the dewans and dorms so that you can't find it'? *followed by a snap and a Z*

See what I mean? Then Sumitra and Kavinenh attempted to regain control of the whole situation by starting of the Ice-breaking session with a game called.

SOMENESS!

Nyehehe. That wasn't all that bad but what can I say with people who walk around snapping and Z-ing and flipping their hair, its wasn't a piece of cake.

Ohh yeahh.

Lol, so the second day wasn't da bomb at all, full of speeches and a sea of red t-shirts. And not to forget, sick people. Plenty of sick people. And who else better to cure them than our very own Dr Jesson, equipped with only 2 strips of Panadol, a couple of cartons of water and A HUGE HEART FILLED WITH LOVE. We also had some visitors from the Paranormal world. And wait, I think I have a picture if I'm not mistaken.

That put us all into a fit of religiousness, with us sprinkling holy water all over our room and chanting mantras. Well nothing promotes god-fearingness better than a little bit of good ol' fashioned paranormal hospitality.

The following day was all about packing up and heading back. We were honored with the duty of collecting all the 36 bloody keys from the participants. And you can tell Sumi wasn't all that happy about it.

Ignore the lala hairband, she didn't get the memo.

All said and done, Conference was a great experience and a fantastic chance for us in the ICC to truly get to know each other. Like how all the guys are real sweethearts inside and how the girls are all dumb blondes under cover. Jokes. And please don't forget.
